Add initial support for OF based soc-camera devices that may be used
by any of the soc-camera drivers. The driver itself will need converting
to use OF.
These changes allow the soc-camera driver to do the connecting of any
async capable v4l2 device to the soc-camera driver. This has currently
been tested on the Renesas Lager board.
It currently only supports one input device per driver as this seems
to be the standard connection for these devices.

JPEG codec on Exynos3250 SoC produces broken raw image if a JPEG
image is decoded to YUV420 format and downscaled by a factor
greater than 2. Prevent this by asserting downscale ratio to 2.

Ipv4 tunnels created with "local any remote $ip" didn't work properly since
7d442fab0 (ipv4: Cache dst in tunnels). 99% of packets sent via those tunnels
had src addr = 0.0.0.0. That was because only dst_entry was cached, although
fl4.saddr has to be cached too. Every time ip_tunnel_xmit used cached dst_entry
(tunnel_rtable_get returned non-NULL), fl4.saddr was initialized with
tnl_params->saddr (= 0 in our case), and wasn't changed until iptunnel_xmit().
This patch adds saddr to ip_tunnel->dst_cache, fixing this issue.

The jpeg_bound_align_image function needs to know the context
in which it is called, as it needs to align image dimensions in
a slight different manner for Exynos3250, which crops pixels for
specific values in case the format is RGB.

This patch adds support for jpeg codec on Exynos3250 SoC to
the s5p-jpeg driver. Supported raw formats are: YUYV, YVYU, UYVY,
VYUY, RGB565, RGB565X, RGB32, NV12, NV21. The support includes
also scaling and cropping features.

This patch adds platform init/exit functions and modifications to support
suspend/resume for the Altera Cyclone 5 SOC Ethernet controller. The platform
exit function puts the controller into reset using the socfpga reset
controller driver. The platform init function sets up the Synopsys mac by
first making sure the Ethernet controller is held in reset, programming the
phy mode through external support logic, then deasserts reset through
the socfpga reset manager driver.

Commit 6a9c001b7e ("MIPS: Switch ELF core dumper to use regsets.")
switched the core dumper to use regsets, however the GP regset code
simply makes a direct copy of the kernel's pt_regs, which does not
match the original core dump register layout as defined in asm/reg.h.
Furthermore, the definition of pt_regs can vary with certain Kconfig
variables, therefore the GP regset can never be relied upon to return
registers in the same layout.
Therefore, this patch changes the GP regset to match the original core
dump layout. The layout differs for 32- and 64-bit processes, so
separate implementations of the get/set functions are added for the
32- and 64-bit regsets.

Get rid of the WANT_COMPAT_REG_H test and instead define both the 32-
and 64-bit register offset definitions at the same time with
MIPS{32,64}_ prefixes, then define the existing EF_* names to the
correct definitions for the kernel's bitness.
This patch is a prerequisite of the following bug fix patch.

Whenever ptrace attempts to retrieve the FPU implementation register it
accesses it through current_cpu_data, which calls smp_processor_id().
Since the code may execute with preemption enabled, this can trigger
a warning. Fix this by using boot_cpu_data to get the IR instead.

In the event flow, we currently pass only a port number in the
void *data argument. Rather than pass a pointer to the event handlers,
we should use an "unsigned long" parameter, and pass the port number
value directly.
In the future, if necessary for some events, we can use the unsigned long
parameter to pass a pointer.

Additionally, in 2 places, a check for a non-null pointer was added

In preparation for a new mlx5 device which is VPI (i.e., ports can be
either IB or ETH), move the pci device functionality from mlx5_ib
to mlx5_core.
This involves the following changes:
1. Move mlx5_core_dev struct out of mlx5_ib_dev. mlx5_core_dev
is now an independent structure maintained by mlx5_core.
mlx5_ib_dev now has a pointer to that struct.
This requires changing a lot of places where the core_dev
struct was accessed via mlx5_ib_dev (now, this needs to
be a pointer dereference).
2. All PCI initializations are now done in mlx5_core. Thus,
it is now mlx5_core which does pci_register_device (and not
mlx5_ib, as was previously).
3. mlx5_ib now registers itself with mlx5_core as an "interface"
driver. This is very similar to the mechanism employed for
the mlx4 (ConnectX) driver. Once the HCA is initialized
(by mlx5_core), it invokes the interface drivers to do
their initializations.
4. There is a new event handler which the core registers:
mlx5_core_event(). This event handler invokes the
event handlers registered by the interfaces.

A driver should fill magic field of ethtool_eeprom struct in .get_eeprom
and validate it in .set_eeprom. The bna incorrectly validates it in both
and this makes its .get_eeprom interface unusable.

I found that a lot of unresolvable variables when using gdb on the
kernel become resolvable when dwarf4 is enabled. So add a Kconfig flag
to enable it.
It definitely increases the debug information size, but on the other
hand this isn't so bad when debug fusion is used.

Currently, we have a 3-stage seeding process in prandom():
Phase 1 is from the early actual initialization of prandom()
subsystem which happens during core_initcall() and remains
most likely until the beginning of late_initcall() phase.
Here, the system might not have enough entropy available
for seeding with strong randomness from the random driver.
That means, we currently have a 32bit weak LCG() seeding
the PRNG status register 1 and mixing that successively
into the other 3 registers just to get it up and running.
Phase 2 starts with late_initcall() phase resp. when the
random driver has initialized its non-blocking pool with
enough entropy. At that time, we throw away *all* inner
state from its 4 registers and do a full reseed with strong
randomness.
Phase 3 starts right after that and does a periodic reseed
with random slack of status register 1 by a strong random
source again.
A problem in phase 1 is that during bootup data structures
can be initialized, e.g. on module load time, and thus access
a weakly seeded prandom and are never changed for the rest
of their live-time, thus carrying along the results from a
week seed. Lets make sure that current but also future users
access a possibly better early seeded prandom.
This patch therefore improves phase 1 by trying to make it
more 'unpredictable' through mixing in seed from a possible
hardware source. Now, the mix-in xors inner state with the
outcome of either of the two functions arch_get_random_{,seed}_int(),
preferably arch_get_random_seed_int() as it likely represents
a non-deterministic random bit generator in hw rather than
a cryptographically secure PRNG in hw. However, not all might
have the first one, so we use the PRNG as a fallback if
available. As we xor the seed into the current state, the
worst case would be that a hardware source could be unverifiable
compromised or backdoored. In that case nevertheless it
would be as good as our original early seeding function
prandom_seed_very_weak() since we mix through xor which is
entropy preserving.

This is an alternative approach to lower the overhead of debug info
(as we discussed a few days ago)
gcc 4.7+ and newer binutils have a new "split debug info" debug info
model where the debug info is only written once into central ".dwo" files.
This avoids having to copy it around multiple times, from the object
files to the final executable. It lowers the disk space
requirements. In addition it defaults to compressed debug data.

This patch adds a new option to enable it. It has to be an option,
because it'll undoubtedly break everyone's debuginfo packaging scheme.
gdb/objdump/etc. all still work, if you have new enough versions.
I don't see big compile wins (maybe a second or two faster or so), but the
object dirs with debuginfo get significantly smaller. My standard kernel
config (slightly bigger than defconfig) shrinks from 2.9G disk space
to 1.1G objdir (with non reduced debuginfo). I presume if you are IO limited
the compile time difference will be larger.
Only problem I've seen so far is that it doesn't play well with older
versions of ccache (apparently fixed, see
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10005)

It seems that bcm47xx can handle only 128 MiB of RAM directly. There
are few devices with 256 MiB, but Broadcom's SDK uses highmem to handle
anything above 128 MiB.

The GPIO pin connected to card detect was inverted twice: once by
the argument to the GPIO line itself where it was magically marked
as active low by the flag GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW (0x01) in the third cell,
and also marked active low AGAIN by explicitly stating
"cd-inverted" (a deprecated method).
After commit 78f87df2b4
"mmc: mmci: Use the common mmc DT parser" this results in the
line being inverted twice so it was effectively uninverted, while
the old code would not have this effect, instead disregarding the
flag on the GPIO line altogether, which is a bug. I admit the
semantics may be unclear but inverting twice is as good a
definition as any on how this should work.
So fix up the buggy device tree. Use proper #includes so the DTS
is clear and readable.
