Touchpads are pointers, so make sure to pass the correct values to

It is useful to initialise the input device later:
- Screen parameters may not be not known yet, for instance if waiting for
firmware loader to return.
- Device may be in bootloader mode on probe (but could still be recovered by
firmware download).
In addition, later devices have a different touchscreen object (T100) which
requires handling differently.
This also reduces the complexity of the probe function.

The maXTouch chips use the CHG line to generate status events in bootloader
mode, and during configuration download, before there is enough information
to configure the input device. Therefore set up the interrupt handler
earlier.
However, this introduces states where parts of the interrupt processing
must not run. Use data->object_table as a way to tell whether the chip
information is valid, and data->input_dev as a way to tell whether it is
valid to generate input report.

The VDSO temporary file is unlinked when a session is deleted. That
precludes the possibilities that there is no session or there is more
than one session.
Correctly the vdso belongs to the machine so put the information on
'struct machine' and get rid of the global variables.

A piped event stream may contain arbitary sized tracepoint information
following a PERF_RECORD_HEADER_TRACING_DATA event. The position in the
stream has to be 'skipped' to match the start of the next event.
Provide the same ability to a non-piped event stream to allow for
Instruction Trace data that may also be in a non-piped event stream.

The RDMA credit limit controls how many concurrent RPCs are allowed
per connection.
An NFS/RDMA client and server exchange their credit limits in the
RPC/RDMA headers. The Linux client and the Solaris client and server
allow 32 credits. The Linux server allows only 16, which limits its
performance.
Set the server's default credit limit to 32, like the other well-
known implementations, so the out-of-the-shrinkwrap performance of
the Linux server is better.

Open stateids must be initialized with the st_access_bmap and
st_deny_bmap set to 0, so that nfs4_get_vfs_file can properly record
their state in old_access_bmap and old_deny_bmap.
This bug was introduced in commit baeb4ff0e5 (nfsd: make deny mode
enforcement more efficient and close races in it) and was causing the
refcounts to end up incorrect when nfs4_get_vfs_file returned an error
after bumping the refcounts. This made it impossible to unmount the
underlying filesystem after running pynfs tests that involve deny modes.

Revert half of commit d151f9854f: If isochronous I/O is attempted with
packets larget than 1 kByte, VIA VT6315 rev 01 immediately stops to generate
any interrupts if MSI are used. Fix this by going back to legacy interrupts.

With smaller packets, the loss of IRQs happens too but only very rarely ---
rarely eneough that it was not yet possible for me to determine whether
QUIRK_NO_MSI is an actual fix for this rare variation of this chip bug.
I am keeping QUIRK_CYCLE_TIMER off of VT6315 rev >= 1 because this has been
verified by myself with certainty. On the other hand, I am also keeping
QUIRK_CYCLE_TIMER on for VT6315 rev 0 because I don't know at this time
whether this revision accesses Cycle Timer non-atomically like most of the
other VIA OHCIs are known to do.

Convert the monotonic timestamp with ktime_mono_to_real() in
drm_calc_vbltimestamp_from_scanoutpos().
In get_drm_timestamp we can call either ktime_get() or
ktime_get_real() depending on drm_timestamp_monotonic. No point in
having two calls into the core for CLOCK_REALTIME.

We have a few other use cases of ktime_get_monotonic_offset() which
can be optimized with ktime_mono_to_real(). The timerfd code uses the
offset only for comparison, so we can use ktime_mono_to_real(0) for
this as well.
Funny enough text size shrinks with that on ARM and x8664 !?

struct timekeeper is quite badly sorted for the hot readout path. Most
time access functions need to load two cache lines.
Rearrange it so ktime_get() and getnstimeofday() are happy with a
single cache line.

Convert the core timekeeping logic to use timespec64s. This moves the
2038 issues out of the core logic and into all of the accessor
functions.
Future changes will need to push the timespec64s out to all
timekeeping users, but that can be done interface by interface.
