After failing to allocate a receive buffer the driver may fail to ever
request additional allocations. EF10 NICs require new receive buffers to
be pushed in batches of eight or more. The test for whether a slow fill
should be scheduled failed to take account of this. There is little
downside to *always* requesting a slow fill if we failed to allocate a
buffer, so the condition has been removed completely. The timer that
triggers the request for a refill has also been shortened.

Currently the ethtool_regs version is set to 0 for FEC devices.
Use this field to store the register dump version exposed by the
kernel. The choosen version 2 corresponds to the kernel compile test:

It is possible that there might be an originally parent object with 0
direct users that is in hints no longer considered as parent. Then the
weight of this object is 0 and current code ignores him. That's why the
total amount of hint objects might be lower than for the original
objagg and WARN_ON is hit. Fix this be considering 0 weight valid.

T6 introduced a Timer Mechanism in SGE called the
SGE Doorbell Queue Timer. With this we can now configure
TX Queues to get CIDX Updates when:
Time(CIDX == PIDX) >= Timer
Previously we rely on TX Queue Status Page updates by hardware
for DMA completions. This will make Hardware/Firmware actually
deliver the CIDX Updates as Ingress Queue messages with
commensurate Interrupts.
So we now have a new RX Path component for processing CIDX Updates
and reclaiming TX Descriptors faster.

For VFS listxattr calls, xfs_xattr_put_listent calls
__xfs_xattr_put_listent twice if it sees an attribute
"trusted.SGI_ACL_FILE": once for that name, and again for
"system.posix_acl_access". Unfortunately, if we happen to run out of
buffer space while emitting the first name, we set count to -1 (so that
we can feed ERANGE to the caller). The second invocation doesn't check that
the context parameters make sense and overwrites the byte before the
buffer, triggering a KASAN report:

I forgot that the kernel's default lease period should never be
decreased!
After a kernel upgrade, the kernel has no way of knowing on its own what
the previous lease time was. Unless userspace tells it otherwise, it
will assume the previous lease period was the same.
So if we decrease this value in a kernel upgrade, we end up enforcing a
grace period that's too short, and clients will fail to reclaim state in
time. Symptoms may include EIO and log messages like "NFS:
nfs4_reclaim_open_state: Lock reclaim failed!"
There was no real justification for the lease period decrease anyway.

The basic idea behind ->pagecnt_bias is: If we pre-allocate the maximum
number of references that we might need to create in the fastpath later,
the bump-allocation fastpath only has to modify the non-atomic bias value
that tracks the number of extra references we hold instead of the atomic
refcount. The maximum number of allocations we can serve (under the
assumption that no allocation is made with size 0) is nc->size, so that's
the bias used.
However, even when all memory in the allocation has been given away, a
reference to the page is still held; and in the `offset < 0` slowpath, the
page may be reused if everyone else has dropped their references.
This means that the necessary number of references is actually
`nc->size+1`.
Luckily, from a quick grep, it looks like the only path that can call
page_frag_alloc(fragsz=1) is TAP with the IFF_NAPI_FRAGS flag, which
requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in the init namespace and is only intended to be
used for kernel testing and fuzzing.
To test for this issue, put a `WARN_ON(page_ref_count(page) == 0)` in the
`offset < 0` path, below the virt_to_page() call, and then repeatedly call
writev() on a TAP device with IFF_TAP|IFF_NO_PI|IFF_NAPI_FRAGS|IFF_NAPI,
with a vector consisting of 15 elements containing 1 byte each.

If an smbus transfer fails, there's no guarantee that the output
buffer was written. So, avoid trying to show the output buffer when
tracing after an error. This was 'mostly harmless', but would trip
up kasan checking if left-over cruft in byte 0 is a large length,
causing us to read from unwritten memory.

This driver assumes that an interrupt line is always available for
the I2C master. This is not always the case and this patch adds support
for a polling version.
Report from Andrew Lunn:
I did some timing tests for this. On my box, we request a udelay of
80uS. The kernel actually delays for about 79uS. We then spin in
ocores_wait() for an additional 10-11uS, which is 3 to 4 iterations.
There are actually 9 bits on the wire, not 8, since there is an
ACK/NACK bit after the actual data transfer. So i changed the delay to
(9 * 1000) / i2c->bus_clock_khz. That resulted in ocores_wait() mostly
not looping at all. But for reading an 4K AT24 EEPROM, it increased
the read time by 10ms, from 424ms to 434ms. So we should probably keep
with 8.

If the Interrupt Flag (IF) is not set, we should not handle the IRQ:
- the line can be shared with other devices
- it can be a spurious interrupt
To avoid reading twice the status register, the ocores_process() function
expects it to be read by the caller.

Detecting a timeout is ok, but we also need to assert a STOP command on
the bus in order to prevent it from generating interrupts when there are
no on going transfers.
Example: very long transmission.
1. ocores_xfer: START a transfer
2. ocores_isr : handle byte by byte the transfer
3. ocores_xfer: goes in timeout [[bugfix here]]
4. ocores_xfer: return to I2C subsystem and to the I2C driver
5. I2C driver : it may clean up the i2c_msg memory
6. ocores_isr : receives another interrupt (pending bytes to be
transferred) but the i2c_msg memory is invalid now
So, since the transfer was too long, we have to detect the timeout and
STOP the transfer.
Another point is that we have a critical region here. When handling the
timeout condition we may have a running IRQ handler. For this reason I
introduce a spinlock.
In order to make easier to understan locking I have:
- added a new function to handle timeout
- modified the current ocores_process() function in order to be protected
by the new spinlock
Like this it is obvious at first sight that this locking serializes
the execution of ocores_process() and ocores_process_timeout()

sys/time.h is the mandated include for many time related
defines. However, linux/time.h overlaps sys/time.h
significantly and this makes including both from userspace
or one from the other impossible.
This also means that userspace can get away with including
sys/time.h whenever it needs linux/time.h and this is what's
been happening in the user world usually.
But, we have new data types that we plan to use in the uapi time
interfaces also defined in the linux/time.h. But, we are unable
to use these types when sys/time.h is included.
Hence, move the new types to a new header, time_types.h.
We intend to eventually have all the uapi defines that the kernel
uses defined in this header.
Note that the plan is to replace uapi interfaces with timeval to
use __kernel_old_timeval, timespec to use __kernel_old_timespec etc.

This patch adds I2C interface timing registers support for
proper bus rate configuration along with meeting the I2C spec
setup and hold times based on the tuning performed on Tegra210,
Tegra186 and Tegra194 platforms.
I2C_INTERFACE_TIMING_0 register contains TLOW and THIGH field
and Tegra I2C controller design uses them as a part of internal
clock divisor.
I2C_INTERFACE_TIMING_1 register contains the setup and hold times
for start and stop conditions.

at STD bus rate.
This patch updates I2C transfer timeout based on the transfer size
and I2C bus rate to allow enough time during max transfer size at
lower bus speed.

Currently rpc_inline_rcv_pages() uses au_rslack to estimate the
size of the upper layer reply header. This is fine for auth flavors
where au_verfsize == au_rslack.
However, some auth flavors have more going on. krb5i for example has
two more words after the verifier, and another blob following the
RPC message. The calculation involving au_rslack pushes the upper
layer reply header too far into the rcv_buf.
au_rslack is still valuable: it's the amount of buffer space needed
for the reply, and is used when allocating the reply buffer. We'll
keep that.
But, add a new field that can be used to properly estimate the
location of the upper layer header in each RPC reply, based on the
auth flavor in use.

This patch adds DMA support for Tegra I2C.
Tegra I2C TX and RX FIFO depth is 8 words. PIO mode is used for
transfer size of the max FIFO depth and DMA mode is used for
transfer size higher than max FIFO depth to save CPU overhead.
PIO mode needs full intervention of CPU to fill or empty FIFO's
and also need to service multiple data requests interrupt for the
same transaction. This adds delay between data bytes of the same
transfer when CPU is fully loaded and some slave devices has
internal timeout for no bus activity and stops transaction to
avoid bus hang. DMA mode is helpful in such cases.
DMA mode is also helpful for Large transfers during downloading or
uploading FW over I2C to some external devices.
Tegra210 and prior Tegra chips use APBDMA driver which is replaced
with GPCDMA on Tegra186 and Tegra194.
This patch uses has_apb_dma flag in hw_feature to differentiate
DMA driver change between Tegra chipset.
APBDMA driver is registered from module-init level and this patch
also has a change to register I2C driver at module-init level
rather than subsys-init to avoid deferring I2C probe till APBDMA
driver is registered.
