Looking at the error function as a whole, the error handling is odd
compared to the rest of the kernel, which prefers to set error codes on
goto paths, rather than a global "status" variable which determines the
error code at the end of the function and function calls in the case of
error.
Rearrange the error handling of this function to bring it more inline
with how the kernel does it in most cases, which helps readability.
The call to rtw_usb_if1_deinit() is eliminated because it is not
possible to ever hit it; if rtw_usb_if1_init() fails, the goto call
jumps over the call to rtw_usb_if1_deinit() and in the success case,
status is set to _SUCCESS.

Move the permission checks in notify_change into a separate function to
make them available to filesystems.
When notify_change is called, the vfs performs those checks before
calling into iop->setattr. However, a filesystem like gfs2 can only
lock and revalidate the inode inside ->setattr, and it must then repeat
those checks to err on the safe side.
It would be nice to get rid of the double checking, but moving the
permission check into iop->setattr altogether isn't really an option.

ksmbd is forcing to turn on FS_POSIX_ACL in Kconfig to use vfs acl
functions(posix_acl_alloc, get_acl, set_posix_acl). OpenWRT and other
platform doesn't use acl and this config is disable by default in
kernel. This patch use IS_ENABLED() to know acl config is enable and use
acl function if it is enable.

To negotiate either the SMB2 protocol or SMB protocol, a client must
send a SMB_COM_NEGOTIATE message containing the list of dialects it
supports, to which the server will respond with either a
SMB_COM_NEGOTIATE or a SMB2_NEGOTIATE response.
The current implementation responds with the highest common dialect,
rather than looking explicitly for "SMB 2.???" and "SMB 2.002", as
indicated in [MS-SMB2]:

Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception
smb3_preauth_hash_rsp() panics because conn->preauth_info is only allocated
when processing a SMB2 NEGOTIATE request.
Fix this by splitting the smb_protos array into two, each containing
only SMB1 and SMB2 dialects respectively.
While here, make ksmbd_negotiate_smb_dialect() static as it not
called from anywhere else.

On some newer SoCs, the interconnect between IPA and SoC internal
memory (imem) is not used. Update the binding to indicate that
having just the memory and config interconnects is another allowed
configuration.

It isn't required, but all callers of ipa_aggr_granularity_val()
pass a constant value (IPA_AGGR_GRANULARITY) as the usec argument.
Two of those callers are in ipa_validate_build(), with the result
being passed to BUILD_BUG_ON().
Evidently the "sparc64-linux-gcc" compiler (at least) doesn't always
inline ipa_aggr_granularity_val(), so the result of the function is
not constant at compile time, and that leads to build errors.
Define the function with the __always_inline attribute to avoid the
errors. We can see by inspection that the value passed is never
zero, so we can just remove its WARN_ON() call.

When a user changes cpuset.cpus, each task in a v2 cpuset will be moved
to one of the new cpus if it is not there already. For memory, however,
they won't be migrated to the new nodes when cpuset.mems changes. This is
an inconsistency in behavior.
In cpuset v1, there is a memory_migrate control file to enable such
behavior by setting the CS_MEMORY_MIGRATE flag. Make it the default
for cpuset v2 so that we have a consistent set of behavior for both
cpus and memory.
There is certainly a cost to make memory migration the default, but it
is a one time cost that shouldn't really matter as long as cpuset.mems
isn't changed frequenty. Update the cgroup-v2.rst file to document the
new behavior and recommend against changing cpuset.mems frequently.
Since there won't be any concurrent access to the newly allocated cpuset
structure in cpuset_css_alloc(), we can use the cheaper non-atomic
__set_bit() instead of the more expensive atomic set_bit().

The platform lost the framebuffer due to a commit solving a
circular dependency in v5.14-rc1, so add it back in by explicitly
selecting the framebuffer.
Also fix up some Kconfig options that got dropped or moved around
while we're at it.

Since cluster is basic unit of compression, one cluster is compressed or
not, so we can calculate valid blocks only for first page in cluster,
the other pages just skip.

The bulk of the addition this time is mainly refactoring to add support
for Virtio transport for SCMI and the addition of the support itself.
The refactoring includes allowing transport specific init/exit calls,
making each transport as compile time configurable, supporting
monotonically increasing tokens instead of using the next available
free buffer index as the token for scmi messages which eases handling
concurrent and out-of-order messages which is a must have for virtio
transport.
Virtio support itself is conformant to the virtio SCMI device spec [1].
Virtio device id 32 has been reserved for the SCMI device [2].
Other than the virtio support, there is one bug fix in the probe failure
clean up path.
