Some chips have a non-zero function id, however instead of hardcoding the id's (CSIAR_FUNC_NIC and CSIAR_FUNC_NIC2) we can get them dynamically via PCI_FUNC(pci_dev->devfn). This way we can get rid of the csi_ops. In general csi is just a fallback mechanism for PCI config space access in case no native access is supported. Therefore let's try native access first. I checked with Realtek regarding the functionality of config space byte 0x070f and according to them it controls the L0s/L1 entrance latency. Currently ASPM is disabled in general and therefore this value isn't used. However we may introduce a whitelist for chips where ASPM is known to work, therefore let's keep this code. There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
