Initialize UEFI secure boot state during dom0 boot. Otherwise the kernel may not even know that it runs on secure boot enabled platform. Note that part of drivers/firmware/efi/libstub/secureboot.c is duplicated by this patch, only in this case, it runs in the context of the kernel proper rather than UEFI boot context. The reason for the duplication is that maintaining the original code to run correctly on ARM/arm64 as well as on all the quirky x86 firmware we support is enough of a burden as it is, and adding the x86/Xen execution context to that mix just so we can reuse a single routine just isn't worth it. Linux kernel

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
