9881418c75 ethtool: set coalescing parameters with COALESCE_SET request
Implement COALESCE_SET netlink request to set coalescing parameters of
a network device. These are traditionally set with ETHTOOL_SCOALESCE ioctl
request. This commit adds only support for device coalescing parameters,
not per queue coalescing parameters.

Like the ioctl implementation, the generic ethtool code checks if only
supported parameters are modified; if not, first offending attribute is
reported using extack.

217275453b ethtool: provide coalescing parameters with COALESCE_GET request
Implement COALESCE_GET request to get coalescing parameters of a network
device. These are traditionally available via ETHTOOL_GCOALESCE ioctl
request. This commit adds only support for device coalescing parameters,
not per queue coalescing parameters.

Omit attributes with zero values unless they are declared as supported
(i.e. the corresponding bit in ethtool_ops::supported_coalesce_params is
set).

894020fdd8 PCI/AER: Rationalize error status register clearing
The AER interfaces to clear error status registers were a confusing mess:

  - pci_cleanup_aer_uncorrect_error_status() cleared non-fatal errors
    from the Uncorrectable Error Status register.

  - pci_aer_clear_fatal_status() cleared fatal errors from the
    Uncorrectable Error Status register.

  - pci_cleanup_aer_error_status_regs() cleared the Root Error Status
    register (for Root Ports), the Uncorrectable Error Status register,
    and the Correctable Error Status register.

Rename them to make them consistent:

  From                                     To
  ---------------------------------------- -------------------------------
  pci_cleanup_aer_uncorrect_error_status() pci_aer_clear_nonfatal_status()
  pci_aer_clear_fatal_status()             pci_aer_clear_fatal_status()
  pci_cleanup_aer_error_status_regs()      pci_aer_clear_status()

Since pci_cleanup_aer_error_status_regs() (renamed to
pci_aer_clear_status()) is only used within drivers/pci/, move the
declaration from <linux/aer.h> to drivers/pci/pci.h.

b6cf1a42f9 PCI/ERR: Remove service dependency in pcie_do_recovery()
Previously we passed the PCIe service type parameter to pcie_do_recovery(),
where reset_link() looked up the underlying pci_port_service_driver and its
.reset_link() function pointer. Instead of using this roundabout way, we
can just pass the driver-specific .reset_link() callback function when
calling pcie_do_recovery() function.

This allows us to call pcie_do_recovery() from code that is not a PCIe port
service driver, e.g., Error Disconnect Recover (EDR) support.

Remove pcie_port_find_service() and pcie_port_service_driver.reset_link
since they are now unused.

7ecc6aa522 Documentation/locking/locktypes: Further clarifications and wordsmithing
The documentation of rw_semaphores is wrong as it claims that the non-owner
reader release is not supported by RT. That's just history biased memory
distortion.

Split the 'Owner semantics' section up and add separate sections for
semaphore and rw_semaphore to reflect reality.

Aside of that the following updates are done:

 - Add pseudo code to document the spinlock state preserving mechanism on
   PREEMPT_RT

 - Wordsmith the bitspinlock and lock nesting sections

6bfef2f919 mm/hmm: remove HMM_FAULT_SNAPSHOT
Now that flags are handled on a fine-grained per-page basis this global
flag is redundant and has a confusing overlap with the pfn_flags_mask and
default_flags.

Normalize the HMM_FAULT_SNAPSHOT behavior into one place. Callers needing
the SNAPSHOT behavior should set a pfn_flags_mask and default_flags that
always results in a cleared HMM_PFN_VALID. Then no pages will be faulted,
and HMM_FAULT_SNAPSHOT is not a special flow that overrides the masking
mechanism.

As this is the last flag, also remove the flags argument. If future flags
are needed they can be part of the struct hmm_range function arguments.

32db9f10d5 ARM: DT and driver fixes for v5.6
For the devicetree files, there are a total of 20 patches, almost
 entirely for 32-bit machines:

 - The Allwinner/sun9i r40 SoC dtsi file contains a number of issues,
   both for correctness and for style that are addressed in separate
   patches. This causes most of the changed lines of the DT updates
   this time.

 - More Allwinner updates fixing the identification of the security
   system on sun8i/A33, a recent regression of the A83t ethernet, and a
   few board specific issues on the TBS-A711 macine.

 - Several bug fixes for OMAP dts files, most notably fixing the timings
   for the NAND flash on the Nokia N900 that regressed a while ago after
   the move to configuring them from DT. Some other OMAPs now set the
   correct dma limits on the L3 bus, and a regression fix addresses lost
   Ethernet on dm814x

 - One incorrect setting in the newly added Raspberry Pi Zero W that
   may cause issues with the SD card controller.

 - A missing property on the bcm2835 firmware node caused incorrect
   DMA settings.

 - An old bug on the oxnas platform causing spurious interrupts is
   finally addressed.

 - A regression on the Exynos Midas board broke the OLED panel
   power supply.

 - The i.MX6 phycore SoM specified the wrong voltage for the SoC,
   this is now set to the values from the datasheet.

 - Some 64-bit machines use a deprecated string to identify the PSCI
   firmware.

 There are also several small code fixes addressing mostly serious
 issues:

 - Fix the sunxi rsb bus access to no longer return incorrect data when
   mixing 8 and 16 bit I/O.

 - Fix a suspend/resume regression on the OMAP2+ lcdc from a missing
   quirk in the ti-sysc driver

 - Fix a NULL pointer access from a race in the fsl dpio driver

 - Fix a v5.5 regression in the exynos-chipid driver that caused an
   invalid error code probing the device on non-exynos platforms

 - Fix an out-of-bounds access in the AMD TEE driver

The exception tables and fixup tables use a commonly recurring pattern
in the kernel of storing the address of labels as date in custom ELF

Sorting readonly arrays to minimize runtime penalties is quite clever.

7a2653612b s390/gmap: return proper error code on ksm unsharing
If a signal is pending we might return -ENOMEM instead of -EINTR.
We should propagate the proper error during KSM unsharing.
unmerge_ksm_pages returns -ERESTARTSYS on signal_pending. This gets
translated by entry.S to -EINTR. It is important to get this error
code so that userspace can retry.

To make this clearer we also add -EINTR to the documentation of the
PV_ENABLE call, which calls unmerge_ksm_pages.

Implement support for the DEVLINK_CMD_REGION_NEW command for creating

In order for DEVLINK_CMD_REGION_NEW to work for a region, the new

The desired snapshot id must be provided. This helps avoid confusion on

The requested id will be inserted into the xarray tracking the number of
snapshots using each id. If this id is already used by another snapshot

f31e339f1b remoteproc: Add elf64 support in elf loader
In order to support elf64, use macros from remoteproc_elf_helpers.h
to access elf headers depending on elf class.
To allow new drivers to support elf64, add rproc_elf_sanity_check
function which make more sense than adding a elf64 named one since
it will support both elf versions.
Driver which need to support both elf32/elf64 should use this new
function for elf sanity check instead of the elf32 one.
