Instead of calling this function from the family specific variant, this
reduces the code size in the fast path for the netdev, bridge and inet
families. After this change, we must call nft_set_pktinfo() upfront from
the chain hook indirection.

No problem for iptables as priorities are fixed values defined in the
nat modules, but in nftables the priority its coming from userspace.
Reject in case we see that such a hook would not work.

The netfilter NAT core cannot deal with more than one NAT hook per hook
location (prerouting, input ...), because the NAT hooks install a NAT null
binding in case the iptables nat table (iptable_nat hooks) or the
corresponding nftables chain (nft nat hooks) doesn't specify a nat
transformation.
Null bindings are needed to detect port collsisions between NAT-ed and
non-NAT-ed connections.
This causes nftables NAT rules to not work when iptable_nat module is
loaded, and vice versa because nat binding has already been attached
when the second nat hook is consulted.
The netfilter core is not really the correct location to handle this
(hooks are just hooks, the core has no notion of what kinds of side
effects a hook implements), but its the only place where we can check
for conflicts between both iptables hooks and nftables hooks without
adding dependencies.
So add nat annotation to hook_ops to describe those hooks that will
add NAT bindings and then make core reject if such a hook already exists.
The annotation fills a padding hole, in case further restrictions appar
we might change this to a 'u8 type' instead of bool.

currently we always return -ENOENT to userspace if we can't find
a particular table, or if the table initialization fails.
Followup patch will make nat table init fail in case nftables already
registered a nat hook so this change makes xt_find_table_lock return
an ERR_PTR to return the errno value reported from the table init
function.
Add xt_request_find_table_lock as try_then_request_module replacement
and use it where needed.

The kernel already has defines for this, but they are in uapi exposed
headers.
Including these from netns.h causes build errors and also adds unneeded
dependencies on heads that we don't need.
So move these defines to netfilter_defs.h and place the uapi ones
in ifndef __KERNEL__ to keep them for userspace.

struct nf_hook_entries __rcu *hooks[NFPROTO_NUMPROTO][NF_MAX_HOOKS];
which store the hook entry point locations for the various protocol
families and the hooks.
Using array results in compact c code when doing accesses, i.e.
x = rcu_dereference(net->nf.hooks[pf][hook]);
but its also wasting a lot of memory, as most families are
not used.
So split the array into those families that are used, which
are only 5 (instead of 13). In most cases, the 'pf' argument is
constant, i.e. gcc removes switch statement.

Cost for this is high. With synchronize_net() removed:
"The net benefit on an SMP machine with two cores is that creating a
new network namespace takes -40% of the original time."
This patch replaces synchronize_net+kvfree with call_rcu().
We store rcu_head at the tail of a structure that has no fixed layout,
i.e. we cannot use offsetof() to compute the start of the original
allocation. Thus store this information right after the rcu head.
We could simplify this by just placing the rcu_head at the start
of struct nf_hook_entries. However, this structure is used in
packet processing hotpath, so only place what is needed for that
at the beginning of the struct.

nfqueue no longer stores a pointer to the hook that caused the packet
to be queued. Therefore no extra synchronize_net() call is needed after
dropping the packets enqueued by the old rule blob.

("netfilter: core: batch nf_unregister_net_hooks synchronize_net calls").
Nothing wrong with it. However, followup patch will delay freeing of hooks
with call_rcu, so all synchronize_net() calls become obsolete and there
is no need anymore for this batching.
This revert causes a temporary performance degradation when destroying
network namespace, but its resolved with the upcoming call_rcu conversion.

When sets are extremely large we can get softlockup during ipset -L.
We could fix this by adding cond_resched_rcu() at the right location
during iteration, but this only works if RCU nesting depth is 1.
At this time entire variant->list() is called under under rcu_read_lock_bh.
This used to be a read_lock_bh() but as rcu doesn't really lock anything,
it does not appear to be needed, so remove it (ipset increments set
reference count before this, so a set deletion should not be possible).

The hidma driver open codes populating address and IRQ resources from DT.
We have standard functions of_address_to_resource and of_irq_to_resource
for this, so use them instead.
The DT binding states each child should have 2 addresses and 1 IRQ, so we
can simplify the logic and do a fixed size resource allocation. Using the
standard of_address_to_resource will also do any address translation which
was missing.

As we have a lot of timers on this platform, we can have potentially all the
timers enabled in the DT, so we don't want to start the timer for every probe
otherwise they will be running for nothing as only one will be used.
Start the timer only when setting the mode or when the clocksource is
enabled.

The stm32 timer block is able to have a counter and a comparator.
Instead of using the auto-reload register for periodic events, we switch
to oneshot mode by using the comparator register.
The timer is able to generate an interrupt when the counter overflows but
we don't want that as this counter will be use as a clocksource in the next
patches. So it is disabled by the UDIS bit of the control register.

The prescaler value is arbitrarily set to 1024 without any regard to the
timer frequency. For 32-bit timers, there is no need to set a prescaler
value as they wrap in an acceptable interval and give the opportunity to
have precise timers on this platform. However, for 16-bit timers a prescaler
value is needed if we don't want to wrap too often per second which is
inefficient and adds more and more error margin. With a targeted clock
of 10MHz, the 16 bits are precise enough whatever the timer frequency is
as we will compute the prescaler.

As there are different timers on the stm32, use the node name for the timer
name in order to give the indication of which timer the kernel is using.
/proc/timer_list gives all the information with the right name, otherwise
we end up digging in the kernel log and /proc/interrupt to do the connection
between the used timer.

The current code hides a couple of bugs:
- The global variable 'clock_event_ddata' is overwritten each time the
init function is invoked.
This is fixed with a kmemdup() instead of assigning the global variable. That
prevents a memory corruption when several timers are defined in the DT.
- The clockevent's event_handler is NULL if the time framework does
not select the clockevent when registering it, this is fine but the init
code generates in any case an interrupt leading to dereference this
NULL pointer.
The stm32 timer works with shadow registers, a mechanism to cache the
registers. When a change is done in one buffered register, we need to
artificially generate an event to force the timer to copy the content
of the register to the shadowed register.
The auto-reload register (ARR) is one of the shadowed register as well as
the prescaler register (PSC), so in order to force the copy, we issue an
event which in turn leads to an interrupt and the NULL dereference.
This is fixed by inverting two lines where we clear the status register
before enabling the update event interrupt.
As this kernel crash is resulting from the combination of these two bugs,
the fixes are grouped into a single patch.

When the driver does not specify a name for the resource, don't use
of_io_request_and_map() but of_iomap(). That prevents resource name allocation
conflicts on some platforms which have the same name as the node.

Under certain circumstances, some specific operations must be done with the
device node pointer, which forces the timer code to propagate the pointer to
the functions which need it.
In order to consolidate the function signatures in the different drivers
by using the timer-of structure, let's store it in the timer-of structure
as a handy pointer when it is needed.

The Spreadtrum SC9860 platform will use the architected timers as local
clock events, but we also need a broadcast timer device to wake up the
CPUs when the CPUs are in sleep mode.
The Spreadtrum timer can support 32-bit or 64-bit counters, as well as
supporting period mode or one-shot mode.

The clock speed displayed at boot in an information message was 500 kHz
too high compared to its real value. As the value is not used anywhere,
there is no functional impact.
Fix the rounding formula to display the correct value.
