PM_QOS_RESUME_LATENCY_NO_CONSTRAINT is defined as the 32-bit integer
maximum, so it is not necessary to test the return value of
dev_pm_qos_raw_read_value() against it directly in the menu and
ladder cpuidle governors.
Drop these redundant checks.

If "posix" (or synonym "unix" for backward compatibility) specified on mount,
and server advertises support for SMB3.11 POSIX negotiate context, then
enable the new posix extensions on the tcon. This can be viewed by
looking for "posix" in the mount options displayed by /proc/mounts
for that mount (ie if posix extensions allowed by server and the
experimental POSIX extensions also requested on the mount by specifying
"posix" at mount time).
Also add check to warn user if conflicting unix/nounix or posix/noposix specified
on mount.

Unlike CIFS where UNIX/POSIX extensions had been negotiatable,
SMB3 did not have POSIX extensions yet. Add the new SMB3.11
POSIX negotiate context to ask the server whether it can
support POSIX (and thus whether we can send the new POSIX open
context).

To improve security it may be helpful to have additional ways to restrict the
ability to override the default dialects (SMB2.1, SMB3 and SMB3.02) on mount
with old dialects (CIFS/SMB1 and SMB2) since vers=1.0 (CIFS/SMB1) and vers=2.0
are weaker and less secure.
Add a module parameter "disable_legacy_dialects"
(/sys/module/cifs/parameters/disable_legacy_dialects) which can be set to
1 (or equivalently Y) to forbid use of vers=1.0 or vers=2.0 on mount.
Also cleans up a few build warnings about globals for various module parms.

We really don't want to be encouraging people to use the old
(less secure) cifs dialect (SMB1) and it can be confusing for them
with SMB3 (or later) being recommended but the module name is cifs.
Add a module alias for "smb3" to cifs.ko to make this less confusing.

When truncating a file we always do this synchronously to the server.
Thus we need to make sure that the cached inode metadata is
marked as stale so that on next getattr we will refresh the metadata.
In this particular bug we want to ensure that both ctime and mtime
are updated and become visible to the application after a truncate.

When loooking at the logs for the new trace-cmd tracepoints for cifs,
it would help to know which tid is for which share (UNC name) so
update /proc/fs/cifs/DebugData to display the tid.
Also display Maximal Access which was missing as well.

When direct I/O is used, the data buffer may not always align to page
boundaries. Introduce a page offset in transport data structures to
describe the location of the buffer within the page.
Also change the function to pass the page offset when sending data to
transport.

Nothing prevents I2C clients to access I2C while Tegra's driver is being
suspended, this results in -EBUSY error returned to the clients and that
may have unfortunate consequences. In particular this causes problems
for the TPS6586x MFD driver which emits hundreds of "failed to read
interrupt status" error messages on resume from suspend. This happens if
TPS6586X is used to wake system from suspend by the expired RTC alarm
timer because TPS6586X is an I2C device driver and its IRQ handler reads
the status register while Tegra's I2C driver is suspended, i.e. just after
kernel enabled IRQ's during of resume-from-suspend process.
Note that the removed tegra_i2c_resume() invoked tegra_i2c_init() which
performs HW reset. That seems was also not entirely correct because moving
tegra_i2c_resume to an earlier stage of resume-from-suspend process causes
I2C transfer to fail in the case of TPS6586X. It is fine to remove the
HW-reinitialization for now because it should be only needed in a case of
using lowest power-mode during suspend, which upstream kernel doesn't
support.

This time around we have mostly trivial changes. However, there are
also a couple of "real" patches improving a few aspects of the
demux-pinctrl behavior and we also actually reset pca954x chips on
probe when we have the ability to do so.
This fixes linker errors due to undefined symbols when one or more of
the TI DaVinci SoCs is not enabled in the kernel config.

On some davinci SoCs, we need to register the PSC clocks during early
boot because they are needed for clocksource/clockevent. These changes
allow for dev == NULL because in this case, we won't have a platform
device for the clocks.

This modifies the TI Davinci PLL clock driver to allow for the case
when dev == NULL. On some (most) SoCs that use this driver, the PLL
clock needs to be registered during early boot because it is used
for clocksource/clkevent and there will be no platform device available.

Fix parent of EMAC and voice codec PSC clocks. Documentation is clear
on EMAC clock parent, but its not fully clear on parent of voice codec
clock. The implementation chosen is matches arch/arm/mach-davinci/dm365.c.
Add a comment explaining this for posterity.
There is only one power domain on DM365. Fix the power domain of voice
codec and vpss dac modules.
While at it, add a comment explaining how the parent of vpss dac clock was
derived. Note that this patch does not touch the parent of vpss dac clock.

This removes pll2_sysclk2 from the TI DM355 clock driver. This SoC
doesn't have such a clock. Also, SYSCLK_ALWAYS_ENABLED is transferred
to pll2_sysclk1 since it drives the DDR and doesn't have another
mechanism to keep it on.

For the word write functions it is retried for error.
But it is not implemented to retry for the erase functions.
To make sure for the erase functions change to retry as same.
This is needed to prevent the flash erase error caused only once.
It was caused by the error case of chip_good() in the do_erase_oneblock().
Also it was confirmed on the MACRONIX flash device MX29GL512FHT2I-11G.
But the error issue behavior is not able to reproduce at this moment.
The flash controller is parallel Flash interface integrated on BCM53003.

For the word write it is checked if the chip has the correct value.
But it is not checked for the write buffer as only checked if ready.
To make sure for the write buffer change to check the value.
It is enough as this patch is only checking the last written word.
Since it is described by data sheets to check the operation status.

btrfs_truncate() uses two variables for error handling, ret and err (if
this sounds familiar, it's because btrfs_truncate_inode_items() did
something similar). This is error prone, as was made evident by "Btrfs:
fix error handling in btrfs_truncate()". We only have err because we
don't want to mask an error if we call btrfs_update_inode() and
btrfs_end_transaction(), so let's make that its own scoped return
variable and use ret everywhere else.

Driver switches vif sta_state into QTNF_STA_CONNECTING when cfg80211
core initiates connect procedure. Further this state is changed either
to QTNF_STA_CONNECTED or to QTNF_STA_DISCONNECTED by BSS_JOIN and
BSS_LEAVE events from firmware. However it is possible that no such
events will be sent by firmware, e.g. if EAPOL timed out.
In this case vif sta_mode will remain in QTNF_STA_CONNECTING state and
all subsequent connection attempts will fail with -EBUSY error code.
Fix this by perfroming STA state transition from QTNF_STA_CONNECTING
to QTNF_STA_DISCONNECTED in cfg80211 disconnect callback.
No need to rely upon firmware events in this case.

Driver uses statically allocated wdev structures for each virtual
interface. However wdev structure is not properly cleaned up between
its uses. As a result, various bugs appear when userspace tools
like hostapd were not gracefully stopped.
In particular, this commit fixes the following issue:
- start hostapd with more than 2 mBSS
- kill hostapd using SIGKILL
- start again hostapd with more than 2 mBSS
However only two mBSS entities will be started: primary
and the last BSS listed in hostapd config.

ARM CoreSight auxtrace uses 'sample->addr' to record the target address
for branch instructions, so the data of 'sample->addr' is required for
tracing data analysis.
This commit collects data of 'sample->addr' into perf sample dict,
finally can be used for python script for parsing event.
