Since the removal of the legacy block layer there is only one completion
function left in the SCSI core, namely scsi_mq_done(). Rename it into
scsi_done(). Export that function to allow SCSI LLDs to call it directly.

Conditional statements are faster than indirect calls. Use a structure
member to track the SCSI command submitter such that later patches can call
scsi_done(scmd) instead of scmd->scsi_done(scmd).
The asymmetric behavior that scsi_send_eh_cmnd() sets the submission
context to the SCSI error handler and that it does not restore the
submission context to the SCSI core is retained.

Since unconditionally runtime resuming a device during system resume is not
necessary, remove that code. Modify the SCSI disk (sd) driver such that it
follows the same approach as the UFS driver, namely to skip system suspend
and resume for devices that are runtime suspended. The CD-ROM code does not
need to be updated since its PM callbacks do not affect the device power
state.

Let's add a driver to read the stats from remote processor and
export to debugfs.
The driver creates "qcom_sleep_stats" directory in debugfs and
adds files for various low power mode available. Below is sample

In cases where both rx and tx lrck are synced to the same source,
the resets for rx and tx need to be triggered simultaneously,
according to the downstream driver.
As there is no reset API to atomically bulk (de)assert two resets
at once, what the driver did was implement half a reset controller
specific to Rockchip, which tried to write the registers for the
resets within one write ideally or several writes within an irqsave
section.
This of course violates abstractions quite badly. The driver should
not write to the CRU's registers directly.
In practice, for the cases I tested the driver with, which is audio
playback, replacing the synchronised asserts with just individual
ones does not seem to make any difference.
If it turns out that this breaks something in the future, it should
be fixed through the specification and implementation of an atomic
bulk reset API, not with a CRU hack.

The tsadc node in rk356x.dtsi has more resets defined then currently
allowed by rockchip-thermal.yaml, so fix that in the documentation.
The driver now uses the devm_reset_control_array_get() function,
so reset-names is no longer required, but keep it for legacy reasons.

The nominal speed of each fan can be obtained with
i8k_get_fan_nominal_speed(), however the result is not available
from userspace.
Change that by adding fanX_min, fanX_max and fanX_target attributes.
All are RO since fan control happens over pwm.
Tested on a Dell Inspiron 3505 and a Dell Latitude C600.

Some systems such as the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 leave interrupts
enabled and configured for use in sleep states on boot, which cause
unexpected behaviour such as spurious wakes and failed resumes in
s2idle states.
As interrupts should not be enabled until they are claimed and
explicitly enabled, disabling any interrupts mistakenly left enabled by
firmware should be safe.

A new 'chassis-type' root node property has recently been approved for
the device-tree specification, in order to provide a simple way for
userspace to detect the device form factor and adjust their behavior
accordingly.
This patch fills in this property for end-user devices (such as laptops,
smartphones and tablets) based on Qualcomm ARM64 processors.

In drivers/clocksource/, 3 drivers use "TIMER_CTRL_IE" with 3 different
values. Two of them (mps2-timer.c and timer-sp804.c/timer-sp.h) are
localized and left unmodifed.
One of them uses a shared header file (<soc/arc/timers.h>), which is
what is causing the "redefined" warnings, so change the macro name in
that driver only. Also change the TIMER_CTRL_NH macro name.
Both macro names are prefixed with "ARC_" to reduce the likelihood
of future name collisions.

The function can loop and lock the system if for whatever reason the bit
for the target sensor is NEVER valid. This is the case if a sensor is
disabled by the factory and the valid bit is never reported as actually
valid. Add a timeout check and exit if a timeout occurs. As this is
a very rare condition, handle the timeout only if the first read fails.
While at it also rework the function to improve readability and convert
to poll_timeout generic macro.
