Patch c49f63530b ("powernv: Add OPAL tracepoints") has a spurious
store to the stack:

The store was originally used to save the current tracepoint status
so the entry and the exit tracepoints were always balanced. In the
end I just created a separate path when tracepoints are enabled.
The offset on the stack used for this store is not valid for ABIv2
and it causes strange issues. I noticed it because OPAL console input
was broken.

A fix to ipv6 structure definitions removed the now superfluous
definition of in6_pktinfo in this file.
But, use of the glibc definition requires defining _GNU_SOURCE
(see also https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=6775).

Due to a misplaced parenthesis, the expression
(unlikely(offset) < 0),
which expands to
(__builtin_expect(!!(offset), 0) < 0),
never evaluates to true. Therefore, when sending packets with
PF_PACKET/SOCK_DGRAM, packet_snd() does not abort as intended
if the creation of the layer 2 header fails.

Commit d75b1ade56 ("net: less interrupt masking in NAPI") uncovered
wrong alx_poll() behavior.
A NAPI poll() handler is supposed to return exactly the budget when/if
napi_complete() has not been called.
It is also supposed to return number of frames that were received, so
that netdev_budget can have a meaning.
Also, in case of TX pressure, we still have to dequeue received
packets : alx_clean_rx_irq() has to be called even if
alx_clean_tx_irq(alx) returns false, otherwise device is half duplex.

the monotonic clock.
This patch uses ktime_us_delta to get the elapsed time of microsecond,
and uses div_s64_rem to get what seconds & microseconds time elapsed
for printing.
This patch also changes the function 'vlsi_hard_start_xmit' to do the
same things as the others drivers, that is passing the remaining time
into udelay() instead of looping until enough time has passed.

In the file au1k_ir.c & via-ircc.h, there were two unused definitions of the
timeval type members, this commit therefore removes this unneeded code.
In other three files, the same problem is the rx_time member is only ever
written, never read, so removed it entirely.

Register a component master to be used to interface with the i915
driver. This is meant to replace the current interface which is based on
module symbol lookups.
Note that currently we keep the existing behavior and pin the i915
module while the hda driver is loaded. Using the component interface
allows us to remove this dependency once support for dynamically
enabling / disabling the HDMI functionality is added to the driver.

chip is already passed to most of the i915 interface functions. Unify
the interface by passing intel_hda instead of chip and passing it to all
functions. Passing intel_hda instead of chip makes more sense since this
is an intel specific interface. Also in an upcoming patch we will use
intel_hda in all of these functions so by passing intel_hda we can save
on some pointer casts from chip to intel_hda.
This will be needed by an upcoming patch adding component support.
No functional change.

Request number for ioctls are encoded as 8bit numbers, but unfortunately
UI_GET_SYSNAME and UI_GET_VERSION specifu values larger than that, so they
get truncated to 44 (0x2c) and 45 (0x2d). This change makes requested
values match their effective values (the ABI stays intact).

Make sure that driver does not process bogus packets as trackstick data
when there is no trackstick present and emit warnings in dmesg so potential

This series breaks DT compatability! But the platform support
is WIP and only being used by the few developers who are upstreaming
support for it. I've made each change to the driver / dt doc / dt
file as a single atomic commit so the kernel will remain bisectable.
This series then also enables the picophy driver, and adds back in
the ehci/ohci dt nodes for stih410 which make use of the picophy.

update the phy driver to not use the reg property to access the sysconfig
register offsets.
This is because other phy's (miphy28, miphy365) have a combination of
memory mapped registers and sysconfig control regs, and we shouldn't
be mixing address spaces in the reg property. In addition we would
ideally like the sysconfig offsets to be passed via DT in a uniform way.
This new method will also allow us to support devices which have sysconfig
registers in different banks more easily and it is also analagous to how
keystone and bcm7745 platforms pass there syscon offsets in DT.
This breaks DT compatibility, but this platform is considered WIP, and
is only used by a few developers who are upstreaming support for it.

Additionally to the generic DT parameters, allow drivers to provide
driver-specific DT parameters to be used with the generic parser
infrastructure.
To achieve this 'struct pinctrl_desc' is extended to pass custom pinconf
option to the core. In order to pass this kind of information, the
related data structures - 'struct pinconf_generic_dt_params',
'pin_config_item' - are moved from pinconf internals to the
pinconf-generic header.
Additionally pinconfg-generic is refactored to not only iterate over the
generic pinconf parameters but also take the parameters into account
that are provided through the driver's 'struct pinctrl_desc'.
In particular 'pinconf_generic_parse_dt_config()' and
'pinconf_generic_dump' helpers are split into two parts each. In order
to have a more generic helper that can be used to process the generic
parameters as well as the driver-specific ones.

With the new 'groups' property, the DT parser can infer the map type
from the fact whether 'pins' or 'groups' is used to specify the pin
group to work on.
To maintain backwards compatibitliy with current usage of the DT
binding, this is only done when PIN_MAP_TYPE_INVALID is passed to the
parsing function as type.
Also, a new helper 'pinconf_generic_dt_node_to_map_all()' is introduced,
which can be used by drivers as generic callback for dt_node_to_map() to
leverage the new feature.

Fix for BUG_ON(anon_vma->degree) splashes in unlink_anon_vmas() ("kernel
BUG at mm/rmap.c:399!") caused by commit 7a3ef208e6 ("mm: prevent
endless growth of anon_vma hierarchy")
Anon_vma_clone() is usually called for a copy of source vma in
destination argument. If source vma has anon_vma it should be already
in dst->anon_vma. NULL in dst->anon_vma is used as a sign that it's
called from anon_vma_fork(). In this case anon_vma_clone() finds
anon_vma for reusing.
Vma_adjust() calls it differently and this breaks anon_vma reusing
logic: anon_vma_clone() links vma to old anon_vma and updates degree
counters but vma_adjust() overrides vma->anon_vma right after that. As
a result final unlink_anon_vmas() decrements degree for wrong anon_vma.
This patch assigns ->anon_vma before calling anon_vma_clone().

Commit fee7e49d45 ("mm: propagate error from stack expansion even for
guard page") made sure that we return the error properly for stack
growth conditions. It also theorized that counting the guard page
towards the stack limit might break something, but also said "Let's see
if anybody notices".
Somebody did notice. Apparently android-x86 sets the stack limit very
close to the limit indeed, and including the guard page in the rlimit
check causes the android 'zygote' process problems.
So this adds the (fairly trivial) code to make the stack rlimit check be
against the actual real stack size, rather than the size of the vma that
includes the guard page.
