588079342e Third round of new stuff for IIO in the 3.16 cycle.
This (rather late) set consists only of fixes to patches earlier in the
cycle or minor fixes for other problems (such as randconfig build issues
picked up by Arnd). I've included the general minor fixes here as it is
very late in the current cycle and they can all wait for the merge window.

 * Recent change to hid-sensors introduced a possible infinite loop due to a
typo. In the same series, a report interval unit read was added but in the
case where the hardware doesn't support it a value of 0 would lead to some
nasty issues. The patch sets it to the specified default of msecs.
 * Anon inodes were used by IIO without being explicitly selected. This has
been true for a long time so it clearly only effects rather unusual
   configurations (rand configs)
 * at91 requires the input subsytem but this wasn't explicity in the Kconfig.
 * A couple of parts supported by the max1363 driver were using the wrong
iio_chan_spec arrays and hence would missreport their bit depths. This has
been there a long time and was never right so isn't a regression.

ead82d6792 hwmon: (ntc_thermistor) Fix OF device ID mapping
The mapping from OF device IDs to platform device IDs is wrong.
TYPE_NCPXXWB473 is 0, TYPE_NCPXXWL333 is 1, so
ntc_thermistor_id[TYPE_NCPXXWB473] is { "ncp15wb473", TYPE_NCPXXWB473 }
while
ntc_thermistor_id[TYPE_NCPXXWL333] is { "ncp18wb473", TYPE_NCPXXWB473 }.

So the name is wrong for all but the "ntc,ncp15wb473" entry, and the
type is wrong for the "ntc,ncp15wl333" entry.

So map the entries by index, it is neither elegant nor robust but at
least it is correct.

59cf4243e5 hwmon: (ntc_thermistor) Fix dependencies
In commit 9e8269de, support was added for ntc_thermistor devices being
declared in the device tree and implemented on top of IIO. With that
change, a dependency was added to the ntc_thermistor driver:

depends on (!OF && !IIO) || (OF && IIO)

This construct has the drawback that the driver can no longer be
selected when OF is set and IIO isn't, nor when IIO is set and OF is
not. This is a regression for the original users of the driver.

As the new code depends on IIO and is useless without OF, include it
only if both are enabled, and set the dependencies accordingly. This
is clearer, more simple and more correct.

c78b083066 ACPI / LPSS: custom power domain for LPSS
A power domain where we save the context of the additional
LPSS registers. We need to do this or all LPSS devices are
left in reset state when resuming from D3 on some Baytrails.
The devices with the fractional clock divider also have
zeros for N and M values after resuming unless they are
reset.

Li Aubrey found the root cause for the issue. The idea of
using power domain for LPSS came from Mika Westerberg.

8ce62f85a8 ACPI / platform / LPSS: Enable async suspend/resume of LPSS devices
To seed up suspend and resume of devices included into Intel SoCs
handled by the ACPI LPSS driver during system suspend, make
acpi_lpss_create_device() call device_enable_async_suspend() for
every device created by it.

This requires acpi_create_platform_device() to be modified to return
a pointer to struct platform_device instead of an int. As a result,
acpi_create_platform_device() cannot be pointed to by the .attach
pointer in platform_handler directly any more, so a simple wrapper
around it is necessary for this purpose. That, in turn, allows the
second unused argument of acpi_create_platform_device() to be
dropped, which is an improvement.

ba778b374d PM / devfreq: exynos4: use common PPMU code
This patch converts exynos4_bus driver to use common PPMU code
(exynos_ppmu.c) instead of individual functions related to PPC
because PPMU is integrated module with both PPC and Bus event
generator. When using PPMU to get bus performance read/write
event exynos4_bus driver deson't need to consider memory type.

44127b771d bus: add Broadcom GISB bus arbiter timeout/error handler
This patch adds support for the Broadcom GISB arbiter bus timeout/error
handler. GISB is a proprietary bus used by Broadcom Set Top Box
System-on-a-chip devices (BCM7xxx) which allows multiple masters and
clients to be interfaced with each other.

The bus arbiter offers support for generating two interrupts towards the
host CPU, thus allowing us to "catch" clock gated masters, or masters
being volontarily blocked for powersaving purposes, or do general system
troubleshooting.

We also register a hook with the ARM fault exception handling to allow
printing a more informative message than "imprecise external abort at
0x00000000" for instance.
