2315dc91a5 net: make dev_set_mtu() honor notification return code
Currently, after changing the MTU for a device, dev_set_mtu() calls
NETDEV_CHANGEMTU notification, however doesn't verify it's return code -
which can be NOTIFY_BAD - i.e. some of the net notifier blocks refused this
change, and continues nevertheless.

To fix this, verify the return code, and if it's an error - then revert the
MTU to the original one, notify again and pass the error code.

db50d2f65b drivers/char: don't use module_init in non-modular ttyprintk.c
The TTY_PRINTK option is bool, and hence this code is either
present or absent. It will never be modular, so using
module_init as an alias for __initcall is rather misleading.

Fix this up now, so that we can relocate module_init from
init.h into module.h in the future. If we don't do this, we'd
have to add module.h to obviously non-modular code, and that
would be a worse thing.

Note that direct use of __initcall is discouraged, vs. one
of the priority categorized subgroups. As __initcall gets
mapped onto device_initcall, our use of device_initcall
directly in this change means that the runtime impact is
zero -- it will remain at level 6 in initcall ordering.

597ce1723e MIPS: Support for 64-bit FP with O32 binaries
CPUs implementing MIPS32 R2 may include a 64-bit FPU, just as MIPS64 CPUs
do. In order to preserve backwards compatibility a 64-bit FPU will act
like a 32-bit FPU (by accessing doubles from the least significant 32
bits of an even-odd pair of FP registers) when the Status.FR bit is
zero, again just like a mips64 CPU. The standard O32 ABI is defined
expecting a 32-bit FPU, however recent toolchains support use of a
64-bit FPU from an O32 MIPS32 executable. When an ELF executable is
built to use a 64-bit FPU a new flag (EF_MIPS_FP64) is set in the ELF
header.

With this patch the kernel will check the EF_MIPS_FP64 flag when
executing an O32 binary, and set Status.FR accordingly. The addition
of O32 64-bit FP support lessens the opportunity for optimisation in
the FPU emulator, so a CONFIG_MIPS_O32_FP64_SUPPORT Kconfig option is
introduced to allow this support to be disabled for those that don't
require it.

Inspired by an earlier patch by Leonid Yegoshin, but implemented more
cleanly & correctly.

9811cd57f4 nfs: fix size updates for aio writes
nfs_file_direct_write only updates the inode size if it succeeded and
returned the number of bytes written. But in the AIO case nfs_direct_wait
turns the return value into -EIOCBQUEUED and we skip the size update.

Instead the aio completion path should updated it, which this patch
does. The implementation is a little hacky because there is no obvious
way to find out we are called for a write in nfs_direct_complete.

78b19bae08 nfs4.1: properly handle ENOTSUP in SECINFO_NO_NAME
Don't check for -NFS4ERR_NOTSUPP, it's already been mapped to -ENOTSUPP
by nfs4_stat_to_errno.

This allows the client to mount v4.1 servers that don't support
SECINFO_NO_NAME by falling back to the "guess and check" method of
nfs4_find_root_sec.

55f6e30d0a Revert "kernfs: invoke kernfs_unmap_bin_file() directly from __kernfs_remove()"
This reverts commit f601f9a2bf.

Tejun writes:
I'm sorry but can you please revert the whole series?
get_active() waiting while a node is deactivated has potential
to lead to deadlock and that deactivate/reactivate interface is
something fundamentally flawed and that cgroup will have to work
with the remove_self() like everybody else. IOW, I think the
        first posting was correct.
